Communication

School Communication: Stay in the loop!

  • Look for the DAILY folder:

The primary form of communication will be through the daily folder. This folder will contain teacher/school contact information, daily and weekly schedule, newsletters, the daily objectives, conduct grades, homework lists, expectations, and any upcoming events. Each team during Back-to-School Night will explain this process in more detail.

  • emails from teachers,
  • Web page
  • The office may also choose to send communication through the district’s School Messenger phone/email system. In order to ensure delivery of any emailed communication you must provide a current email address to the Pecan Springs ECP Office via personal communication or on your child’s official registration form.

A Community Newsrack is located by the school office and is available to post information about special events, programs, sports opportunities, classes, etc. occurring outside Pecan Springs. All materials must be approved by the school principal or designee. Parents are encouraged to check this information on a frequent basis.

Please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns. Your child’s teacher is the first point of contact.

Teacher Telephone Numbers

Each teacher has a private telephone number with voicemail. The number will be provided at the beginning of school. Parents should call this number to contact the teacher. Teachers will not be answering the phone during instructional time, but will check messages periodically. Your call will be returned, if need be, at the earliest possible time. Arrangements regarding the end of day dismissal should be made in writing at the beginning of the day.
